KIBV x GS Community - Joining Hands with Flood-Affected Communities

On September 12, the Leadership Team and Volunteers from KIBV, along with projects such as GS Community, Empower Women Asia, and GREEN FAIR, traveled to Thanh Cao commune, Luong Son district, Hoa Binh province, to carry out the “Emergency Relief – Sharing Love” mission.

The recent typhoon had flooded the entire area, cutting off main roads and leaving 133 households completely isolated. Residents were unable to leave their homes to access food, water, or essential supplies. To assist the community in overcoming these hardships, KIBV organized a relief effort to deliver vital supplies to affected households.

In coordination with local authorities from both Luong Son district and Thanh Cao commune, we personally handed each household a relief package containing food, drinking water, and hygiene products. These items provided timely assistance, helping families ease the burden as they recover from the disaster.

This relief mission is not just a charitable act but also a demonstration of solidarity and community responsibility. KIBV understands that in difficult times like these, cooperation and mutual support are of utmost importance. This mission reflects KIBV's long-term commitment, alongside other organizations in Vietnam, to stand by vulnerable communities.

Looking forward, KIBV remains dedicated to its mission of helping those in need, especially in times of natural disasters. This relief trip to Thanh Cao serves as a reminder of the power of collective action and the positive impact that even small acts of kindness can have on communities facing adversity.
